Formerly known as Music Camp, Udaleku came into being in April 1974 when various Basque clubs joined together to create the North American Basque Organizations, Inc. (NABO) to promote and encourage our common Basque heritage.

Hundreds of young Basques gather each summer in a different city of the extended Basque community in the United States. Participants study Basque folk dance, music, singing, and games.

Besides being a good learning experience, the camp offers the participants a great opportunity to develop ties and friendships with other young Basques from other states whose parents and ancestors came from the Basque country.

The cost per child to attend is $480.00. To help offset the cost to attend, Txoko Ona offers $200 scholarships to the children of members.
